Katelyn Rogers



Description/ About me

Katelyn Rogers is a project and community manager at Open Knowledge, where she works on various projects including the Open Government Fellowships, the Open Data Handbook and Open Data for Development. Katelyn is passionate about the use of data and information for both social and economic development and is particularly interested in how communities are using data and technology to improve services and hold governments to account. Prior to joining Open Knowledge, she worked as a project coordinator at Wateraid on their WASHwatch initiative and as a freelance translator, researcher and editor for various NGOs in France. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and a masters in Public Policy from King’s College London, where her research focused on open data policies.
